Summary

Guten Tag!

Due to the volume of new information that we have recveived, the December issue of the newsletter is coming to you a little early. Included in this issue is important information on registration.

We would like to thank all who have sent us messages of congratulations for our newsletter. Our main goal is to keep you informed. So, please feel free to contact us with any questions that you may have. If we do not have the answers, we will do everything possible to find the information that you require. We can be contacted at the coordinates at the top of this page.

We would also like to thank all those who, on a regular basis, send us WYD news from their diocese. This is a great encouragement, and we hope that information will be useful to other diocesan coordinators.

Finally, as promised, we have a new German word for you to learn. The word of the month: Tschüs! which means “Bye. See you soon!”. An interesting "free" website for learning some basic German is available at: http://german.about.com/library/anfang/blanfang01.htm.

Bill and Sylvain
National Coordinators for World Youth Day 2005
Directors, CCCB Communications Service

Promotional Material

Are you interested in a WYD 2005 banner? Or maybe a flag? Or any other promotional materials? Due to high shipping costs, many of you may have abandoned the idea of ordering any. It may be possible for the CCCB to receive some of these promotional items without having to pay high prices for shipping. Anyone interested can contact us (wyd2005@cccb.ca) as soon as possible.

Youth Festival

Véronique Rondeau, one of the Canadian volunteers working for the WYD 2005 Organizing committee, informs us that they are looking for more Canadian musicians and singers to participate at the Youth Festival that gathers artists from all over the world. So far, few of them are registered. Are you a musician? A singer? Do you know a band that would like to play in Cologne? Registration needs to be done soon by contacting Geraldine at Geraldine.pucken@wjt2005.de. For more information on this Festival, click here.
