The Commission:

• Forms relationships with other Churches and ecclesial communities, religions outside of the Christian faith, as well as with national and international ecumenical organizations 
• Helps the Bishops to identify current issues relating to Christian Unity
• Finds ways to infuse an ecumenical dimension in all Conference activities
• Stimulates theological dialogues which promote Christian Unity and a better understanding of the religious traditions of each other.
