The Standing Committee for Canon Law provides the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops with expertise and recommendations related to questions of canon law according to the 1983 Code of Canon Law and the 1990 Code of Canons for the Eastern Churches and in the interpretation of particular law issued by the CCCB.
