Messe2011_20_septembre_1On September 20, 2011, the personnel of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB) gathered for a Eucharistic celebration to mark the beginning of the new 2011-2012 pastoral year.  Msgr. Patrick Powers, P.H., General Secretary of the CCCB, presided at the Mass.  In his homily, Msgr. Powers reminded staff that the Lord invites each of them to put their talents at the service of the Church.

Messe2011_20_septembre_2The liturgy was followed by lunch, which in a special way highlighted the 25th anniversary of Msgr. Powers’ ordination as priest.  The CCCB has approximately 40 employees who staff the CCCB offices in Ottawa and the French Sector National Liturgy Office in Montreal
