Diocesan Administrators elected for Gatineau and Valleyfield

Subsequent to the recent episcopal appointments by the Holy Father, the dioceses concerned have elected the following Administrators, as required by Canon 421 §1:

The Most Reverend Roger Ébacher, Archbishop emeritus of Gatineau, has been elected Administrator of the Archdiocese of Gatineau, effective until November 30, 2011, the date on which the Most Reverend Paul-André Durocher is installed as Archbishop of Gatineau;

The Reverend André Lafleur has been elected Administrator of the Diocese of Valleyfield, following the installation of the Most Reverend Luc Cyr as Archbishop of Sherbrooke.
