2015 synod buttonDuring the 14th Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops which runs till October 25, it is possible to follow its work through the communications of the Holy See Press Office as well as through the social media – those of the religious press and also by several of the Bishops from Canada who are members of the Synod. The Holy See Press Office holds a daily press conference to present an overview of the day's work by the Synod. The Canadian Catholic television network Salt + Light TV provides extensive coverage of the Synod with daily reports. The Web television channel of the Archdiocese of Québec, ECDQ.TV, offers daily the prayer suggested by Pope Francis for the Synod on the Family. The prayer is led each day by different families, couples and individuals involved in the local Church.

The Most Reverend Richard Smith, Archbishop of Edmonton and one of four delegates from the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB), is publishing his reflections on his personal blog, entitled The Reason for Our Hope. The Most Reverend Paul-André Durocher, Archbishop Gatineau and another of the CCCB delegates, is also posting texts on his blog, entitled Sing and Walk.
