CCCB Office for Evangelization and Catechesis issues its summer editions of On Good Soil and Encounter

On Good Soil Summer 2016The English Sector Office for Evangelization and Catechesis of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB) has published the summer issues of its e-newsletters On Good Soil and Encounter.

This edition of On Good Soil offers an historical review of adult faith development in the Archdiocese of St. John's, a review of the Annual Catechetical Conference of the Diocese of Corner Brook and Labrador, as well as a tribute to Ms. Margie Ann McKinnon who is retiring after 23 years of service as the Coordinator of the Office of Religious Education in the Archdiocese of Kingston.

Encounter Summer 2016The summer edition of Encounter offers a reflection on the mission of catechists, together with stories on the Holy Spirit Day for the confirmands of the English parishes in the Archdiocese of Montreal, the first Annual Graduation Brunch of St. Agnes Parish in the Archdiocese of Halifax-Yarmouth, the Passion Play in the Archdiocese of Saint-Boniface, the corporal works of mercy by youth in the Diocese of London, and the Higgins Award for Excellence in Catholic Education.
