CCCB Office for Evangelization and Catechesis issues its winter edition of Encounter

person-371015 1920The English Sector Office for Evangelization and Catechesis of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB) has published the Winter 2017 issue of its e-newsletter Encounter. The newsletter is designed as a resource that promotes and celebrates work taking place in dioceses and eparchies in the area of evangelization and catechesis with children, youth and families. The newsletters are available on the webpage for the Office for Evangelization and Catechesis.

The Winter 2017 edition of Encounter highlights a variety of projects and best practices across Canada including the Missionary Shift of Christian Communities from the Archdiocese of Gatineau, Camp Oselia in the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of Edmonton, a refugee family in the Diocese of Grand Falls, intergenerational youth programs in the Archdiocese of Toronto and the Diocese of St-Jean-Longueuil, celebrating Canadian Saints in the Diocese of Corner Brook and Labrador, as well as family and intergenerational catechesis in the Archdiocese of St. John's. The newsletter also highlights upcoming events and resources for Lent and Holy Week.
