2017 National March for Life in Ottawa

Marche pour la vie 2017As part of the 20th annual National March for Life, 11 May 2017, a number of Bishops participated, with several also presiding at Eucharistic celebrations which were held in the Archdioceses of Ottawa and Gatineau before the rally which marched through the streets of Ottawa. Among the Bishops were His Eminence Thomas Cardinal Collins, Archbishop of Toronto, the Most Luigi Bonazzi, Apostolic Nuncio to Canada, the Most Reverend Terrence Prendergast, S.J., Archbishop of Ottawa, the Most Reverend Brendan M. O'Brien, Archbishop of Kingston, the Most Reverend Roger Ébacher, Archbishop Emeritus of Gatineau, the Most Reverend Marcel Damphouse, Bishop of Sault Ste-Marie, the Most Reverend Mark A. Hagemoen, Bishop of Mackenzie-Fort Smith, the Most Reverend Scott McCaig, C.C., Bishop of the Military Ordinariate of Canada, and the Most Reverend Christian Riesbeck, C.C., Auxiliary Bishop of Ottawa. Salt + Light Television was on hand for news reports and interviews, as well as EWTN TV.
