Ordination of the new Auxiliary Bishop of Trois-Rivières

TREMBLAY Pierre-Olivier-webThe episcopal ordination of the Most Reverend Pierre-Oliver Tremblay, O.M.I., as Auxiliary Bishop of the Diocese of Trois-Rivières will take place on Sunday, 22 July 2018, at 2:00 p.m., in Notre-Dame-du-Cap Basilica, Trois-Rivières. The Most Reverend Luc Bouchard, Bishop of Trois-Rivières, will preside as the principal ordaining Bishop, along with the Most Reverend Martin Veillette, Bishop Emeritus of Trois-Rivières, and the Most Reverend Reynald Rouleau, O.M.I., Bishop Emeritus of Churchill-Hudson Bay, as co-consecrators. The Most Reverend Luigi Bonazzi, Apostolic Nuncio, will be present, along with other Bishops from Canada. At the time of his appointment on 21 May 2018, Bishop-elect Tremblay was Rector of the Shrine of Notre-Dame-du-Cap in Trois-Rivières, Québec. The celebration will be broadcast live on the web with ECDQ.TV of the Archdiocese of Québec.
