Lectionnaire des funérailles webCCCB Publications announced that the Canadian edition of the Lectionnaire des funérailles is now available for purchase. Having received the necessary authorization from the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments, the Lectionnaire des funérailles contains the 48 biblical readings for funerals provided in the 1981 Ordo Lectionum Missae, editio typica altera, and published in the section "Messes des défunts" in the 2016 Lectionnaire des saints et messes rituelles (pp. 1467 to 1545) approved for use in Canada, as well as the 15 other readings found in the earlier 1974 Lectionnaire pour la liturgie des défunts which had formerly been approved for use in Canada, together with the approved French-language versions of 10 additional biblical readings published in the section "Masses for the Dead" of the 2014 English-language Lectionary: Ritual Masses, Masses for Various Needs and Occasions, Votive Masses, Masses for the Dead (pp. 834-880) also approved for use in Canada.
