(CCCB – Ottawa) The Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB) has just published its Directory 2006.

This annual bilingual publication contains a wealth of information about the Conference. Two sections provide data on the bishops and dioceses of Canada while another section outlines the structure of the CCCB, the members of the Executive Committee, Permanent Council and Commissions.

The 84-page booklet also offers useful information about the Vatican and the Holy Father, the Apostolic Nunciature in Canada, regional episcopal conferences, diocesan statistics, and a list of bishops representing the CCCB on national associations and assisting the Holy See.

Directory 2006 is available for $13.95 (taxes and shipping not included). Copies can be obtained by ordering online at www.cccbpublications.ca, by e-mail at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. The CCCB is the assembly of the Bishops of Canada, assisting them in their many pastoral responsibilities.  The Conference is involved in issues of national and international scope, and provides the bishops a forum where they can share their experiences and insight on the life of the Church and the major events that shape society.
