Yearly retreat of the Canadian Council of Churches

Witnessing to Unity in Diversity, this year’s theme for the Canadian Council of Churches’ (CCC) annual retreat, was embodied and celebrated by key leaders across 21 Council denominations, who gathered in February and prayed in four different Christian traditions.  The 24 hour retreat in Mississauga encouraged open dialogue, prayer and friendship amongst Anglican, Roman Catholic, Protestant, Evangelical and Eastern and Oriental Orthodox traditions.   As President of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops, Archbishop V.
