The CCCB offers its collaboration with the Truth and Reconciliation Commission

In a letter sent by the President of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB), Most Reverend V. James Weisgerber, Archbishop of Winnipeg, to Justice Murray Sinclair, Chairman of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, the Bishops of Canada express hope and optimism for the work of the Commission. As it had stated in a message in May 2008, the CCCB remains convinced that the Commission will help the ongoing healing process.
