Catholic Bishops Release Pastoral Message on Marriage

The President of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB), Most Rev. Jacques Berthelet, C.S.V., on behalf of the Episcopal Conference’s Permanent Council, at a media conference this morning in Montreal, made public a Pastoral Message on Marriage in the Present Day, in light of the current debate surrounding the proposed government legislation on the redefinition of marriage.

Bishop Berthelet was accompanied by Cardinal Jean-Claude Turcotte of Montreal and Cardinal Aloysius Ambrozic of Toronto, both members of the CCCB Permanent Council.
