The Most Reverend Paul-André Durocher, Archbishop of Gatineau and President of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB), has sent a letter of sympathy to the Most Reverend Christian Lépine, Archbishop of Montréal, following the death on April 8, 2015, of His Eminence Jean-Claude Cardinal Turcotte, Archbishop Emeritus of Montréal. In his letter, Archbishop Durocher recalls that Cardinal Turcotte was collaborating with the CCCB even before his episcopal ordination, and that "he willingly served his brother Bishops in a number of roles, including that of our national President between 1997 and 2000."

The colours of the web site represent the official heraldic insignia of Bishops. The green corresponds to the galero (ecclesiastical hat) and six tassels on each side that make up the crest and supporters of the coat of arms of each Bishop while the gold represents the processional cross.
