Following the celebration of Mass on Easter Sunday with some 150,000 faithful gathered in Saint Peter’s Square in Rome on April 8, 2012, Pope Benedict XVI offered his traditional blessing to the city and the world (“urbi et orbi”). In his message he called for peace amid the many current conflicts.
