Holy Father’s Easter blessing urbi et orbi

bxviFollowing the celebration of Mass on Easter Sunday with some 150,000 faithful gathered in Saint Peter’s Square in Rome on April 8, 2012, Pope Benedict XVI offered his traditional blessing to the city and the world (“urbi et orbi”). In his message he called for peace amid the many current conflicts. The texts of the Holy Father’s message, as well as his Holy Week homilies and other interventions, can be read on the website for Vatican News.  This website also includes video and audio archives of the Holy Father’s celebrations and audiences, together with links to other Vatican media and communication services.
