Final weekly Angelus message from His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI

On Sunday, February 24, 2013, the Holy Father Pope Benedict XVI presided at his last weekly Angelus message from the windows of his apartment at the Vatican. In his address to the crowd of an estimated 200,000 people who were gathered in Saint Peter’s Square, Benedict XVI said he “will never abandon the Church”. Vatican Information Service has provided a transcript of the Holy Father’s address.
