Message from Pope Francis to Muslims throughout the world, marking the end of Ramadan

E-mail Print PDF

To mark the end of Ramada (Id al-Fitr), the Holy Father has sent a personal Message to Muslims on a theme “that concerns both Muslims and Christians: Promoting mutual respect through education”. In the introduction of his Message, Pope Francis wrote: “This year, the first of my Pontificate, I have decided to sign this traditional message myself and to send it to you, dear friends, as an expression of esteem and friendship for all Muslims, especially those who are religious leaders.” The Message has been published on the Vatican Website under the section of the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue.
