In Rome, from 30 September to 27 October, five Bishops of Canada participated in the Xth Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops. In the first two weeks of the meeting, each of the 300 participants, 250 of these being bishops, was called upon to make a presentation on a subject of concern for him or his Episcopal Conference.
