CCCB hires a new Director for its Office national de liturgie

Sylvestre EricThe Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB) has hired Father Eric Sylvestre, P.S.S., as the next Director of the CCCB French-language office for liturgy and the sacraments, the Office national de liturgie (ONL), succeeding Father Louis-André Naud in this capacity. Father Sylvestre will begin his new position at the CCCB during this July.

After being ordained to the priesthood for the Archdiocese of Montreal in 1995, Father Sylvestre served as assistant pastor there before joining the Society of the Priests of Saint-Sulpice (Sulpicians), following which he has served in seminary formation and as rector of the Pontifical Canadian College. Father Louis-André Naud will be returning to ministry in the Archdiocese of Québec.
