CNEWA Canada welcomes new project officer to coordinate programs in Ukraine

Anna DombrovskaCatholic Near East Welfare Association (CNEWA) Canada has announced that Ms. Anna Dombrovska will be its project officer responsible for coordinating the organization's work in Ukraine. Ms.Dombrovska grew up and lived in Kyiv. CNEWA has been helping the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church since Ukraine achieved its independence in 1991. Donations provided by CNEWA assist in the renovation of churches and other church facilities, support for seminarians, funding for the Ukrainian Catholic University, and helping the Church's social service initiatives with the poor and marginalized. Founded by Pope Pius XI in 1926, CNEWA works on behalf of the Eastern Churches.
