2013 Week for Life and Family – Optional resources for liturgy and prayer

The National Week for Life and the Family, May 12-19, 2013, begins with the Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord and concludes with the Solemnity of Pentecost. The Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB) provides optional resources to mark the beginning and conclusion of this week, and for linking it with the rest of the Church year with a special recap on Trinity Sunday. Each parish, following the directions of its Diocesan Bishop, may wish to adapt or use the suggestions and options for liturgies and prayer services.
