2015 March for Life in Ottawa
Wednesday, May 13, 2015In a news release issued yesterday, the Archdiocese of Ottawa has published the schedule of activities and celebrations during the March for Life on May 14, 2015. Bishops will preside at several Eucharistic celebrations, including the Most Reverend Paul-André Durocher, Archbishop of Gatineau and President of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops, His Eminence Thomas Cardinal Collins, Archbishop of Toronto, and the Most Reverend Terrence Prendergast, S.J., Archbishop of Ottawa. Among the other Bishops who will participate in the events will be the Most Reverend Luigi Bonazzi, Apostolic Nuncio to Canada; the Most Reverend Christian Lépine, Archbishop of Montreal; the Most Reverend Brendan M. O’Brien, Archbishop of Kingston; the Most Reverend Denis Grondin, Archbishop-Elect of Rimouski and representative of His Eminence Gérard Cyprien Cardinal Lacroix, Archbishop of Québec and Primate of the Church in Canada; the Most Reverend Ronald P. Fabbro, C.S.B., Bishop of London; the Most Reverend Fred Colli, Bishop of Thunder Bay; the Most Reverend Marcel Damphousse, Bishop of Alexandria-Cornwall; the Most Reverend Daniel J. Miehm, Auxiliary Bishop of Hamilton; and the Most Reverend Christian Riesbeck, C.C., Auxiliary Bishop of Ottawa. A prayer service is also being organized by Ukrainian Catholics, with special worship services as well for participants from the Anglican, Lutheran and Evangelical Churches.
