2015 Pentecost message for Canadian Catholic movements and associations
Friday, May 15, 2015The Standing Committee for Relations with Movements and Associations of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB) has issued its annual Pentecost message for Catholic movements and associations in Canada. In its message, the Standing Committee recalls the 2014 CCCB Forum for National Catholic Movements and Associations as a moment “to witness the variety of ways people are living lives of service to strengthen our Church and communities. But, more importantly, we spoke about discovering more effective ways of working together – to discover the complementarity of our Movements and Associations. Our celebration of Pentecost reminds us that this is primarily the work of the Holy Spirit, and our place is to listen carefully and follow faithfully.”
