Anniversary of the election of Pope Benedict XVI

The Holy Father celebrates the 7th anniversary of his election as Pope on April 19, 2005. This past April 16, he also celebrated his 85th birthday. The Bishops of Canada invite all Canadian Catholics to join them in wishing the Holy Father Happy Anniversary and Happy Birthday, and together with the whole Church to pray for the Pope and his universal ministry as successor of Peter.
