Archbishop Miller issues pastoral letter calling on Federal Minister for Justice to enact prostitution legislation
Monday, May 26, 2014The Most Reverend J. Michael Miller, C.S.B., Archbishop of Vancouver, has released a pastoral letter inviting Catholics in the Archdiocese to join their names to his “in urging the Parliament of Canada to enact legislation that respects the human dignity of all persons” and does not treat prostitution “as if it were a commercial business”. In addition, the Archdiocese of Vancouver has launched a postcard campaign that calls on the federal government for prostitution legislation.
