Canadian Martyrs’ Shrine in Midland, Ontario, to mark the canonization of Blessed Kateri

The Canadian Martyrs’ Shrine in Midland, Ontario, will host a major celebration, Sunday, October 21, 2012, to mark the canonization of Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha. The celebration will included a procession with the relics and statue of Blessed Kateri at 11:00 am; Mass and a blessing with the relics at 12:00 noon; followed by refreshments. There will also be a media presentation of the Mass of Canonization at the Vatican.
