CCCB Conference/Workshop on Catholic Weddings and Funerals as Moments of Evangelization
Thursday, September 4, 2014The Episcopal Commission for Liturgy and the Sacraments of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB) will offer a Conference/Workshop, October 27-28, 2014, in St John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, on the theme In Joy and Sorrow: Catholic Weddings and Funerals as Moments of Evangelization. Organized by the CCCB National Liturgy Office in collaboration with the Archdiocese of St. John’s, the Conference will bring together priests, deacons, liturgy Committee members, music minister, bereavement teams, pastoral councils and couples considering marriage. The key guest speakers will be: the Most Reverend Brian Dunn, Bishop of Antigonish and member of the Episcopal Commission for Liturgy and the Sacraments, Ms. Anne Walsh of the Archdiocese of St. John’s and Father James Mallon of the Archdiocese of Halifax-Yarmouth.
