CCODP delegation to Philippines

Philippines 2014-9-WebA delegation from the Canadian Catholic Organization for Development and Peace (CCODP) is visiting the projects supported by CCODP in Philippine communities severely affected by Typhoon Haiyan in November 2013. Development and Peace has posted reports about its projects and the delegation’s visit on its blog. In addition, the ShareLife agency of the Archdiocese of Toronto, whose Executive Director is also part of the delegation, has posted reports on its blog too. The delegation, which will be in the Philippines until August 26, includes two Bishops from Canada: the Most Reverend J. Michael Miller, C.S.B., Archbishop of Vancouver and the Most Reverend Jean-Louis Plouffe, Bishop of Sault Ste. Marie. Among others participating are Mr. Pat Kennedy, President of the CCODP National Council, and Dr. Patrick Fletcher, Senior Advisor for Theology and Social Doctrine with the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB).
