Celebration in Montreal for Saint John XXIII and Saint John Paul II
Wednesday, June 4, 2014The Archdiocese of Montreal held a Mass of Thanksgiving on May 30, 2014, the feast of the diocesan patron, in honour of the recent Canonizations of Saint John XXIII and Saint John Paul II. The celebration took place at the Cathedral-Basilica Mary Queen of the World and was presided by the Most Reverend Christian Lépine, Archbishop of Montreal, assisted by the Apostolic Nuncio to Canada, the Most Reverend Luigi Bonazzi, who gave the homily.
