First anniversary of pontificate of Pope Francis

In celebration of the first anniversary of the pontificate of Pope Francis on March 13, 2014, Salt + Light TV is broadcasting special commemorative programming. This is scheduled to start at 9:00 am (ET) and will include a look back on the pontificate of Benedict XVI and a biographical documentary on Pope Francis. The special programming will end with a round-table discussion on the momentous moments during this past year which mark the transition in the Petrine ministry. The feed of the special Salt + Light programming will be accessible on the home page of the website of the Canadian Conference of the Catholic Bishops (CCCB).

For its part, CCCB Publications has indicated in its weekly newsletter the documents by the Holy Father that are available from CCCB Publications. These include his first Apostolic Exhortation, The Joy of the Gospel (Evangelii Gaudium).
