Installation of the new Bishop of Saskatoon

hagemoenThe Most Reverend Mark Hagemoen will be installed as Bishop of the Diocese of Saskatoon at the Cathedral of the Holy Family, Saskatoon, on 23 November 2017 at 7:00 p.m. The Most Reverend Donald Bolen, Archbishop of Regina, will preside. The Most Reverend Richard Gagnon, Archbishop of Winnipeg and Vice President of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB) will be present on behalf of the President of the CCCB, together with a number of other Bishops from across Canada as well as the Most Reverend Luigi Bonazzi, Apostolic Nuncio to Canada. When appointed Bishop of Saskatoon by the Holy Father on 12 September 2017, Bishop Hagemoen was then Bishop of the Diocese of Mackenzie-Fort Smith. Archbishop Bolen served as Apostolic Administrator of Saskatoon until he was installed as Archbishop of Regina on 14 October 2016. Since then, the Reverend Kevin McGee has been Diocesan Administrator of Saskatoon. Bishop Hagemoen’s installation will be live-streamed on the Saskatoon Diocesan Website.
