Installation of the new Bishop of Victoria

The Most Reverend Gary Gordon will be installed as Bishop of Victoria at St. Andrew’s Cathedral, Victoria, B.C., August 28, 2014, at 7:00 p.m. (Pacific Time). When he was appointed Bishop of Victoria by the Holy Father on June 14, 2014, Bishop Gordon was then Bishop of Whitehorse. Bishop Gordon succeeds the Most Reverend Richard Gagnon who was appointed Archbishop of Winnipeg on October 28, 2013. Archbishop Gagnon then served as Apostolic Administrator of Victoria until he was installed as Archbishop of Winnipeg on January 3, 2014. Bishop Gordon’s installation will be live-streamed on Salt + Light TV network Thursday, August 28 at 7:00 pm (Pacific Time), 10:00 pm (Eastern Time), with repeats the same day at 10:00 pm PT / 1:00 am ET, as well on August 29, 30 and 31.
