Life and family suggestions for homilies and prayers of the faithful during April 2013

The Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB) regularly posts possible homily ideas and prayers of the faithful to help link the Sunday liturgy with the national pastoral initiative for life and family. The proposed texts for April 2013 include suggestions from the Second to the Fifth Sunday of Easter.  These suggestions can be easily adapted for family and personal prayer, or for use with other groups or organizations. The texts are available on the special Life and Family webpage, under the section “Documents and activities proposed by the CCCB”. In the coming weeks, the CCCB will also make available special resources for Ascension Sunday, Pentecost Sunday, and Trinity Sunday.  The 2013 National Week for Life and the Family will be celebrated this coming May 12-19.
