New web portal for the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith

The Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith has updated and reorganized its webpage. His Eminence William Cardinal Levada, Prefect of the Congregation, has informed the Presidents of Episcopal Conferences throughout the world that www.doctrinafidei.va is now directly accessible from the opening page of the Vatican website. In addition to maintaining all the documents already on the Holy See’s official website, the Congregation’s new web portal is intended to help all the faithful in consulting and communicating the Church’s teaching. It will particularly assist those officially engaged in the Church’s theological and pastoral work.

The Congregation’s webpage provides all recent major documents in eight languages, as well as including a complete listing of all the documents issued by the Congregation since the Second Vatican Council.

Visitors to the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB) website can access the Congregation’s new web portal, through the direct link to the Vatican website found in the Quick links on the opening page of the CCCB website.
