Pope Francis to address UN General Assembly, and participate in multi-religious serviceThursday, September 24, 2015
On Friday, September 25, 2015, Pope Francis will be in New York and will address the United Nations General Assembly, just as Blessed Paul VI did 50 years earlier, on October 4, 1965. The Canadian Catholic television network Salt + Light TV will broadcast the address live. This historic event can be watched live at 8:30 am (Eastern Time).
Following his address to the United Nations General Assembly, Pope Francis will participate in a multi-religious service at the 9/11 Memorial and Museum, World Trade Center at 11:30 am (Eastern Time), which will also be broadcast by Salt + Light TV.
