Pope Francis welcomes CCCB delegation in private audience
Tuesday, November 18, 2014On November 15, 2014, Pope Francis gave a private audience to the delegation from the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB) which is in Rome until November 20 for the annual visit of the CCCB Presidency with various offices of the Holy See. The CCCB delegation is led by the Most Reverend Paul-André Durocher, Archbishop of Gatineau and CCCB President, and also includes the Most Reverend Douglas Crosby, O.M.I., Bishop of Hamilton and CCCB Vice President, as well as Mr. Bede Hubbard, English-language Assistant General Secretary, who is representing Msgr. Patrick Powers, P.H., CCCB General Secretary.
