Record donations to Aid to the Church in Need on an international scale
Wednesday, June 10, 2015In a statement issued June 5, 2015, the Catholic international charity Aid to the Church in Need (ACN) announced that its donations in 2014 surpassed $155 million (U.S.) for the first time in its history. The Pontifical Foundation’s annual report declared an increase of $10 million in donations overall when compared with 2013. These donations helped to support a total of 5,614 pastoral projects in 145 countries.
