Salt + Light Television celebrates 10th anniversary

Salt and Light Catholic Media Foundation marks its 10th anniversary on December 6, 2012.  Established as part of the response to the 2002 World Youth Day, which had been celebrated in Toronto and across the country, Salt + Light TV today is an important Catholic media outlet in Canada and around the world.  As part of its celebration, Salt + Light is holding a Christmas concert in Toronto on December 6, in Toronto’s Koerner Hall. The concert Venite Adoremus will feature The Priests, the Amabile Youth Singers of London, as well as acclaimed Toronto-based songstress Rosanna Riverso.

Father Thomas Rosica, C.S.B., President and CEO of Salt and Light Catholic Media Foundation, has received a number of congratulatory anniversary messages. These include a letter from the Most Reverend Claudio Maria Celli, President of the Pontifical Council for Social Communications, and also from the Most Reverend Richard Smith, Archbishop of Edmonton, President of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops.
