His Eminence Thomas Cardinal Collins, Archbishop of Toronto, on August 7, 2014, issued a statement on the situation of Christians in Iraq who are being persecuted. The same day, His Beatitude Louis Raphael Sako, the Chaldean Patriarch of Babylon, issued an SOS to the international community.
