devpeace sharelent2015 posterThis coming March 22 is the Fifth Sunday of Lent, also known as Solidarity Sunday, which is reserved in most Canadian parishes for the Share Lent Collection. The Canadian Catholic Organization for Development and Peace (CCODP) has made available on its YouTube account the video message for the 2015 Share Lent campaign by the Most Reverend Paul-André Durocher, Archbishop of Gatineau and President of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops. In his message, Archbishop Durocher recalls that this campaign across Canada is part of “the Caritas Internationalis global campaign launched by the Holy Father. This campaign is a response to the fact that one out of every nine of God’s children still suffer from hunger – close to one billion people on our planet.”
