United Church - Catholic Dialogue

The United Church – Catholic Dialogue was established in 1974 to advance mutual understanding and to promote full and visible unity between the two churches. The Dialogue explores theological and doctrinal questions of mutual importance.

The joint statements below document the work of the United Church – Catholic Dialogue, on which the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB) participates, through is officially appointed representatives (not excluding Bishops), along with the United Church of Canada.

The views and ideas expressed therein are those of the participants; they are not issued as official statements by the CCCB, nor do they necessarily reflect the views, positions or ideas of the CCCB.
