Jesus proclaimed, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God has come near; repent and believe in the good news.” (Mark 1:14) The Church’s faith, expounded in doctrine and by catechesis, is “confessed in the Creed, celebrated in the liturgy, and lived in observance of God’s commandments and in prayer….” (Catechism of the Catholic Church, no. 26)
