mallonMost Reverend Peter Mallon, Archbishop emeritus of Regina, Saskatchewan, died on 3 February 2007. He was 77 years old.

The funeral mass, presided by Most Reverend Daniel Bohan, Archbishop of Regina, will be held at Holy Rosary Cathedral in Regina at 10:30 a.m. Thursday.

mallonMost Reverend Peter Mallon, Archbishop emeritus of Regina, Saskatchewan, died on 3 February 2007. He was 77 years old.

Born 5 December 1929 in Prince Rupert, British Columbia, he was ordained a priest on 27 May 1956 for the Archdiocese of Vancouver. On 16 November 1989, Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Nelson, B.C., and on 9 June 1995 named him Archbishop of Regina. He retired as Archbishop of Regina on 30 March 2005.

The funeral mass, presided by Most Reverend Daniel Bohan, Archbishop of Regina, will be held at Holy Rosary Cathedral in Regina at 10:30 a.m. Thursday.

Prior to the funeral, Mallon’s body will lie in state on Tuesday at Our Lady of Assumption Co-Cathedral in Gravelbourg and on Wednesday at Holy Rosary Cathedral in Regina.
