Public Statements, Letters and Information from Bishops of Canada during their 2015 Annual Plenary Assembly

During their 2015 annual Plenary Assembly, 14-18 September 2015, in Cornwall, Ontario, the Bishops of Canada issued a number of public statements, letters and information. Among the issues addressed are a statement on assisted suicide,  a statement of support for the joint fundraising campaign for Syrian refugees by the Canadian Catholic Organization for Development and Peace, CNEWA Canada, and Aid to the Church in Need Canada, a joint statement by the Presidents of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB) and the Canadian Religious Conference to mark the Year of Consecrated Life, and a letter from the President to the Holy Father on behalf of the Bishops gathered in Plenary Assembly.
