(CCCB — Ottawa) — Radio Vatican, as part of celebrations for the Great Jubilee of the Year 2000, has offered internships to a number of Canadians. The interns will serve up to two months each with the Vatican broadcaster, covering various Jubilee activities.

The internship program called “Radio Jubilee Youth” was offered to young adults between the ages of 20 to 30 either studying or working in the field of social communications and with an interest in the Church. The interns, from all continents, will be working in Rome beginning in November 1999 until January 2001. They will work as reporters, news readers and carry out other journalistic duties.
