Episcopal Commission for Justice and Peace

The Episcopal Commission for Justice and Peace:

  • Encourages, through the light of the Gospel, reflection and activities to enhance justice and respect for people within society;
  • Assists the Canadian Bishops in their role as moral teachers in accordance with the social teachings of the Church and the CCCB's pastoral objectives.

The Commission is composed of four members. Consultants are invited to participate. The members hold four annual working sessions.
