The members of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops are all Latin Catholic and Eastern Catholic Bishops whom the Supreme Pontiff has appointed, or agreed be appointed, to a diocese or eparchy in Canada. These include diocesan and eparchial Bishops, coadjutor Bishops, auxiliary Bishops, and other Bishops who may exercise a special office assigned to them, as well as those priests whose appointment may give them authority equivalent to that of a Bishop, as in the case of an apostolic or diocesan administrator.
