A Great Symphony of Prayer: The Our Father as a Programme of Life
Friday, March 22, 2024The CCCB Ad hoc Committee for the Preparation for the Jubilee 2025 is hosting two series of webinars titled “A Great Symphony of Prayer” to enable the faithful to participate meaningfully in the “Year of Prayer” leading up to the Jubilee, as announced by Pope Francis on 21 January 2024.
The webinars are based on the themes contained in the prayer booklets prepared by the Jubilee Office in Rome.
Available in both official languages, each series of webinar on prayer will consist of four parts; one series will take place in the spring and the other in the fall. Dr. Josephine Lombardi (St. Augustine’s Seminary) will present the four parts of the spring series titled “A Great Symphony of Prayer: The Our Father as a Programme of Life.”

- Tuesday, April 9 (1:00 – 2:30 pm EDT): Seeking God’s Kingdom and Knowing God’s Will
- Tuesday, April 23 (1:00 – 2:30 pm EDT): Daily Bread and the Gift of Forgiveness
- Tuesday, April 30 (1:00 – 2:30 pm EDT): Managing Trials and Resisting Evil Fall Series on Prayer
- Thursday, October 3 (1:00 – 2:30 pm EDT): Praying with Mary/The Rosary
- Thursday, October 10 (1:00 – 2:30 pm EDT): Praying with the Saints/St. Teresa of Avila
- Thursday, October 17 (1:00 – 2:30 pm EDT): The Prayer of Jesus/John 17
- Thursday, October 24 (1:00 – 2:30 pm EDT): Lectio Divina/The Storm at Sea
Registration for the spring series (English) is now open.
The French-language webinar series will take place in May and October 2024. These webinars will be recorded and packaged with a reflection guide and made available on cccb.ca sometime after the completion of the final session. A notice that the recordings available will be sent to those who have registered to at least one session.
